Resurrect it!

On this resurrection day as you are thinking about the life, ministry, beaten until he was unrecognizable, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, I encourage you to seek new revelation about the power of the resurrection and know that the resurrection power of the cross was not a “one-off”. Meaning it ALSO was one of many examples of the many gifts Christ gave you once you confess you are in need of a Savior and need salvation that only JESUS gives (John 14:12 & Romans 10:8-10 -NLT). That by faith in the name of Jesus you will resurrect what is dead in your life.

I encourage you to recognize that in the name of Jesus just as he was resurrected from the grave and now ALIVE, by that same power you are celebrating, ask Jesus to resurrect ANYTHING in your life that has you chained and replace it with the truth of the WORD OF GOD.

Prayer: Jesus as I acknowledge the chains and no longer want it to have access in my life I ask that you resurrect…

Anxiety

Depression

Pride

Jealousy

Anger

Ruminating thoughts

Lying thoughts

Values, needs, behaviors that are opposite than what you have for my life.

Distorted thinking

Hindering mindsets

Suicidal thoughts

Past trauma that has me chained in my present

The voice of fear, shame, doubt, feeling not enough, low self worth, seeking validation.

Rejection

False identity/labels

Pleasing people in exchange for dishonoring myself.

Addictive behaviors, no matter how hard I try on my own I can’t break from it.

Harmful behaviors that have me thinking “I can't help myself.” This has me normalizing self harm.

Self hate.

I pray today and after, anything or anyone that has you not knowing who you are at your core and what has you chained mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually will be resurrected from the dead. I encourage you to pray every day by faith if you have to, to be free from every chain you handed over to Jesus. In Jesus name amen.

Weekly Reflection
”In fact, it says, “The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart.” And that message is the very message about faith that we preach: If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.”

Romans 10:8-10 NLT
