Stand Firm

This morning as I read Galatians 5:1 {KJV}, I encourage you to do what is written,

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”

I woke up this morning after an amazing weekend, energized, inspired and free. Free to tackle a project and to-do’s this week. Free to have joy. Free to thank the Lord for multiple blessings He answered and confirmed. Free to create, refrain from giving in to distractions and spend quality time with the Father. Free to walk in faith, make a mistake, to not know all the answers. Free knowing Jesus Christ saved me from the yoke of bondage.

How can this moment be a non-negotiable moving forward? How can Galatians 5:1 be an altar where we worship the Lord every day of our lives? When trials come. When the desires of our sinful nature come. When dying to ourselves comes. When we need to be reminded of the tricks of the evil one so we can flee from him, come.

May we stand firm in our heart, mind and spirit as we prepare for Christ's return.

I encourage you this week to remember the intimate, intentional, sweat that became like drops of blood to the ground work on the cross that was completed for you. I charge you to keep your eyes on Christ who is the author and finisher of your faith so that you will walk out your salvation in Sonship, authority and in the power of the Holy Spirit. You have been called to live in freedom Daughter! Stand firm, flat footed and strong in that calling.

If you are not sure of the position you can stand in, I invite you to get to know Jesus. Read Ephesians chapter two in the New Living Translation {NLT} version of the Bible to begin knowing God’s sacrificial love for you.

Stand firm in what Jesus has done for you, who God created you to be and who He says you are.
