Allow The Rescue

I know Jesus rescued you from the weight of perpetual sin when you accepted his love via the work of His life, His body on the cross and resurrection from the dead, but can he continue to be your rescuer...

In times of anxiety.

In times of suicidal thoughts.

In times of chronic indecisiveness.

In times of overwhelm from work, family, expectations.

In times of addictive behaviors.

In times of truama ( past-resurfaced, avoided, unknown and present).

In times of "black and white" thinking.

In times when you know you are not making right choices.

In times of chronic pessimistic thinking.

In times of disobedience.

In times of choosing other gods over Him.

In times of loss and grief.

In times of struggling with single parenthood.

In times of pressure from loved ones.

In times when you misdirect your pain and anger towards God. Resulting with you pulling away from Him not getting closer.

In times when "life is lifing".

His name is Jehovah Go'el! Meaning: "The LORD our redeemer" Etymology: Derived from the Hebrew verb "ga'al," meaning "to redeem" or "to act as a kinsman-redeemer." Example: Isaiah 49:26 (ESV) – "Then all flesh shall know that I am the LORD your Savior, and your Redeemer (Jehovah Go'el), the Mighty One of Jacob."

Jehovah Go'el is a name that emphasizes God's redeeming love and His role as our Savior. This name is often used in the context of God's promise to deliver His people from oppression and bondage, ultimately pointing to the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.

Will you allow Jehovah Go'el to rescue you from yourself daily?
